Yusuf Mwomas remains will depart on Wednesday 07/04/07 from Raleigh airport at 10:30AM via America Airline to Atlanta, GA and depart same day in the evening to London on the same Airline and arrive JKIA Nairobi on Friday 7:10AM by Kenya Airways. The body is being transported to Kenya to his immediate family members and where his burial will take place close to the ancestors. Immediate family members who have missed Yusuf Mwoma for a couple of years are expected to turn up in large numbers at the airport to give their last welcome and respect. His body will be taken to Chiromo Mortuary for brief storage before being taken to the burial site at Riongombe settlement scheme. Burial is expected to be heavily attended.On Saturday 06/30/07 at Umoja SDA Church in Raleigh, NC Kenyans gathered to give financial support to transport the remains to Kenya. On Sunday 07/01/07, several people from various states, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland traveled to give their final condolences, financial support and comfort each other.

Elder Charles Ogachi, Evans Janai, Naftal Mogoko, Peter Mbaka spoke and gave touching remarks in memory of late Yusufu Mwoma. The late Mwoma and elder Charles Ogachi were the founding spiritual family singers in Shauri Moyo SDA Church Nairobi. The late elder Mwoma was the youth Pathfinder director of Umoja SDA Church in Raleigh SDA Church. Pastor Omosa gave a strengthening and comforting sermon and wished the bereaved family Gods guidance and protection.

Death Announcement Of Elder Yusuf Moranga Mwoma
It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Elder Yusuf Mwoma of Umoja Central SDA Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Who used to live in Jersey City, NJ. His death occurred early Friday on 22/06/07. He was the beloved husband of Isabella Moranga of the ministry of labor Nairobi. He was the beloved son of the late David Mwoma Okioma and Aska Kemunto Mwoma and step son of Biriah Mwoma.
He was the loving father of Kevin Okioma a student at Makerere University Kampala, Uganda, Faith Nyaboke of Nairobi, Betina Kemunto of ABC Machakos primary and Nelson Mwoma of Abal Academy Nairobi.
He was the beloved brother to Daniel Mwoma a retired staff member of I.C.D.C Uchumi house Narobi, Peter Mwoma a principal at Kirwa Secondary School in Nyaribari Chache, Charles Mwoma of Swiss port Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Esther Nyaboke of Wanjohi Consulting Engineer Nairobi, Mary Kerubo Arwasa, Beatrice Motoki and Vane Mwoma both of Kisii, Rose Mwoma of Inter-continental Hotel Nairobi, Nyaanga Mwoma a businessman Kericho, Buge Mwoma and Okioma Mwoma both of Securicor Nairobi.
He was the beloved cousin to Margaret Onchari of Ministry of health Nairobi.
Yusufu Mwoma was home on Thursday on 21/06/07 and was in the internet until 12:30 AM Friday early hours of the day. His roommate Mr. Japheth Marucha left him reading newspapers and went to sleep. He was supposed to go to work at 7:00 AM to start a new job. When it was 7:00 AM and a visitor of theirs Mr. David Angaza came, they noticed his car outside and Japhet Marucha went to knock at his door which was not answered and he opened the door since it was not bolted. He touched him several times and found him cold and called a friend from the sitting room Mr. David Angaza to come and found him death facing down. They called 911 and his body was taken to the coroners for investigation. The body was later taken to Carlton Gray Funeral and Cremation Service.
Relatives and friends are meeting daily from Monday 25/06/07 as from 5:00 PM at Kisii Hotel, Nairobi- Garden Square, his familys residence Jekima house on Jogoo road Nairobi and at Riogombe Settlement scheme his home in Nyamira district. The funeral service will be held on Sunday 07/01/07 at Umoja Central Adventist Church. Thereafter the body is expected to be transported to Kenya if there are enough funds.
