The family of K-Star Bartholomew “Kanda” Aburi would like to thank the Kenyan community, Jersey City Police department, his fellow artist, his fellow youths and his friends, Churches which inspired their membership to reach out and support. The entire friends of the Aloys Aburi family, their work mates, employers, the Catholic Community, Paramedics who responded quickly, Jersey City Medical staff, Watson Mortuary, friends of Kenya and well wishers.
They also would like to thank choirs which sang during memorial service and those who gave them company in the house day and night until the departure for Kenya. The food families brought, prayers, moral support, financial support they received and the counseling of kids and youths who were overcome with the tragedy.
They also would like to thank those who were not able to come but kept them in their prayers. They are thanking everybody for their generous support and the department of the clergy from all Churches that came every night to provide assurance and spiritual healing.
Mr. & Mrs Aburi and Esther Aburi would like to take this opportunity again to thank you all for being with them during their most difficult time. They are back in Jersey City and have different phone numbers than those they used to have. Thank you for your generosity and May God bless you, keep you and multiply your spiritual and material gifts as a reward to your generosity.
