Jersey City, NJ. Saturday 04/12/2014 the turn up for the fundraising was very high and historical. This is because of who the young man was. He was a people’s person from all ages, categories and professions. Make no mistake his character and behavior is legacy to be followed by his family, fans, friends and relatives.
The Kenyan community, Catholic community, his fans, friends, and relatives including sympathizers and well wishers turned up in a large number. On this occasion the function ended well, although the show was stolen. It was a catholic function in a catholic venue, but an elder from Catholic Church said “they stole the show the theme of the day must be the theme of the day.”
On Sunday 04/13/2014, the turnout was extremely high in record and historical. Many people turned up at St.Patrick Catholic Church to give a farewell to the young man they loved in the community. People came from all walks including his work places, his promoters and his fellow artists. He will be dearly missed by his beloved family who had high hopes on him and the entire universal family.
He worked for Msanii recording, producing and composing as an artist.
Again on Sunday the show was stolen by members of other denominations. The show was for Kanda-K-Star’s farewell but down the road when Rev. Huron Orutwa who many are now calling Mr. Orutwa brought other topics and took more than two minutes allocated, he came with Muungano SDA Youths who are not affiliated with his Tumaini Kristo Lutheran Church and claimed that he formed emergency singing group. Memberships of Muungano SDA Church don’t want scandals on their children. There were several complains last night.
The body will be leaving for Kenya on Monday and burial will be held in Nakuru Kenya at the family’s plot on 04/22/2014.
Baby Imani Makwaka’s (6yrs) fundraising went fine on friday and her funeral service early Saturday was well attended at St. Patrick Catholic Church . She will be laid to rest in Linden, New Jersey, USA.
