On behalf of members of Chini Ya Mti, I would like to announce that we have now realized our targeted amount to transport Mary M. Namiti’s body back to Kenya.
This was made possible by a significant contribution received from members of Halala USA Organization. Other contributions came from our Kenyan brothers and sisters of tri – State Area including New Mexico, Missouri, Massachusetts, California, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Netherlands and Canada.
Her remains are schedule to travel to Nairobi this weekend en route to her final resting place in Matunda, Western Kenya.
Final viewing is scheduled for Friday March 21st 2014 between 6pm – 7pm
