Kenyans are asked to urgently identify a Kenyan who committed a murder suicide. He was married to Diana Annette Shorthouse (Aka: Diana Annette Keerssemeeckers). There were domestic problems whereby on 04/06/08 Diana asked him to sign papers for divorce but he refused and on 04/08/08 he didn’t show up at his work place a mile away from his residence. A person was dispatched from the employer to check why he never went to work and upon knocking the door he opened and the Kenyan told the person that he did kill his wife whose body was lying on the kitchen floor. The person left and called police but police forced themselves into the house and found both of them death.
Diane Annette Shorthouse is from Holland and Mbarka Mwinwi who finger prints say is Tom Peter is from Kenya. They have a five year old daughter. The family from Poland came to USA and buried their daughter. Their daughter is with Texas foster waiting a decision of who should be given custody of her.
The body of this Kenyan is still at the Houston Medical Examiners Office waiting to be identified by next of kin. This is almost two months since this incident.
We believe the name used as Tom Peter is an alias, and his friends are saying that his name is Mbarka Mwinwi from Kenya. His true names could be Mbaka Mwinyi, Mbatha Mwinyi, Mbaka Mwinyi etc. He is a Muslim. No other records were found in the house. This incident happened when their five years old daughter was at school. Reports indicate that there were some serious domestic problems.
We have called medical examiners office to investigate where he used to worship? Which mosque and in that mosque are there Africans who can give details? His car which was parked outside whose name is it under? From his employer which names are on the payroll?
As indicated below he was born 04/08/1974 and died on 04/08/08. We are asking the Kenyan media print, TV and especially the radio to broadcast to all Kenyans about this man. Ask Kenyans who have their children in the US especially Houston, Texas if they have anybody with these names or close to these names or if they know if their children or relative is married to a white woman with a five year old daughter. Those Kenyans in the US who know the deceased please come forward and provide details to help notify the family.
Reports indicate that both the deceased were illegal in the US. Kenyan Embassy in Washington was notified but the Embassy can do little if they don’t have records of the deceased, if he was using somebody’s social security to work and no actual names are found. A Kenyan cannot be buried in a foreign land but this case is different since there are no proper names to identify next of kin. We can circulate this alert and expect help from Kenyan radio services back in Kenya. We just got this circulation and we ask the Medical Examiners Office to give us time to circulate it widely.

Have you considered checking whether Telkom Kenya changed the area code for the number from 0124 to 046 for Hola? In which case the next place to check would be through Telkom to see who the owner of the line was or to try using 46 instead of 124

yeah its such a pity. It may be too late for him to be burried at home since this is now end of July but i still feel that it would be good for the next of kin to be notified, for closure puporses.
