If you’re His child, and you’re letting Him do the choosing, what’s He going to choose for you? He’s going to choose that which is the best for you! “He knows, He loves, He cares, nothing His Truth can dim! He gives the very best to those who leave the choice up to Him!”
God likes to test our faith. He likes to see how much we really believe, and He often will not give us answers until we obey what He’s already told us or showed us. We have to take the step of faith, reach out the hand of faith and obey God if we want to receive His blessings! But if we obey what we know God wants us to do, then He’ll show us more truth; and when we obey that, He’ll give us a little more. And step by step, as we follow Him, He will show us more and more.
We can’t always wait until God answers. Many times we just have to step out by faith even if we don’t see the ground we’re going to put our foot on. Just hold on tight to the hand of God and He will go before you and lead you. That’s the walk of faith. Even if you can’t see ahead, just put your hand into the hand of God! (2Cor.5:7)
So thank the Lord for these precious days while we have the priceless opportunity to serve the Lord and to spread the Gospel! But we’d better make hay while the sun shines, because it’s a marvellous opportunity to do the best we can and the most we can right now.
Do your best to really put your best into what is best and make it count! The hour is late and we have to do the “works of Him that sent us while it is day, for the night’s coming when we’re not going to be able to work”, at least not like we can now. (John 9:4) It’s late, and the days are evil, so we’ve got to work and try to get the job done that He wants us to. (Eph.5:16)
Are you doing your best for Jesus now?–God bless you and keep you busy for Jesus and souls!
The Lord has purposes for everything, and reasons behind even our trials and afflictions, and “ALL things work together for good to them that love the Lord!” (Rom.8:28) So everything that happens is God’s Will in some way or the other! Everything’s in His hands and nothing happens without His Will, especially to His children whom He loves and to whom He wants to be good.
Thank You Lord that You always work everything out for our good, because we love You and You love us, and You’ve promised to, Lord, so we thank You for it. Often times You even turn things that seem to be bad into good, and it all works out. Hallelujah!
“You can have your earthly treasure, your silver and your gold. But the Spirit, it’s the Spirit, that can never yet be sold!” Only Jesus can really satisfy your heart! He is the Answer! But as long as you’re still looking for things in the World to make you happy and satisfied, you won’t find the Truth! (See 1John 2:15-17.)
God’s Word warns us to “be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches”. (1Tim.6:17) Don’t be like the rich man in the Bible who wanted to build bigger barns to increase his goods for himself, and not to share with others. (Luke 12:15-21) His own soul became barney and materialistic and he was deluded by “the deceitfulness of riches”. (Mat.13:22)–If God blesses you with money, don’t trust in money and don’t let it fill your head, and become highminded. “But trust in the living God, Who giveth us richly all things to enjoy!” (1Tim.6:17)
May we desire, love and hunger for Thy Spirit, Love and simplicity, Lord–the realities, Lord, not the “deceitfulness of riches”, but the realities of Love and the Truth! “For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal!” (2Cor.4:18)
