The Deputy Director of Public Prosecution Dorcas Oduor says the project to absorb police prosecutors in the office of the Director of Public Prosecution is in the pipeline with already most of the police prosecutors having been interviewed and audited.
The ones who will be inter-grated will undergo training to handle complex criminal prosecutions.
However DPP office faces numerous challenges ranging from budgetary allocations due to enormous financial implication of establishing the new office.
