The Kenya Railways Police have arrested a suspect following an incident that took place Thursday morning where unidentified person riding on top of the Nairobi-bound Ruiru train poured acid on commuters through the ventilation.
According to a statement from Rift Valley Railways (RVR), the suspect, whose identity remains confidential, is helping the police with their
investigation into the incident, which happened between Mutindwa and Makadara leaving six people, five male and one female, slightly burnt on their hands and heads.
The casualties were taken to Kenyatta National Hospital by the Railways Police.
