ODM is on the right course. The people are with them and the whole world is watching keenly.
The incumbent was never going to concede defeat and hence the seriousness of rigging clues from the opposition, before, during and even after the vote fell on the deaf ears of the already compromised ECK. Yet the opposition could not see that a DICTATOR had already been made and was seriously camouflaged in an incumbent who tolerated decent, free press and campaigns, but at the same time covertly infiltrated the ECK. As the incumbent, the DICTATORSHIP used secret service, public service including civil and provincial administration, police, paramilitary, military and the judiciary to bring us in this state of affairs.
So where do we go from here.
Every nation that has achieved real democracy has undergone painful and long processes. Kenyans have come a long way already. May you have energy to sustain the struggle.
Do not despair nor surrender. What is most important is that in the absence of an impartial judiciary, organized peaceful demonstration and protestation have achieved greater outcomes provided they are sustatined.
Meanwhile, to all real change advocates, your really hard work to achieve the positive people’s verdict was not in vain, it was realized but wrongfully denied. This will cause hard feelings, depression, and even resentful feelings towards those we do not agree with, which is normal and is actually the first step of recovery. However, just do not let these feelings get the better part of you. Turn them against state machinery through peaceful protestation and disobedience
Reach out and talk to your friend, family or even write and express your self. Most Importantly, call and reassure your family that the whole world is watching and that we will never forsake them. Let them know the whole world has already rejected the usurper.
Whearas the DICTATOR has at this time suppressed the local media, and threatened to arrest and detain The People’s President and other legitimately elected leaders, it can only be recognised as a cowardly act which cannot succeed. In this day and age, the world wide web cannot allow them to get away with curtailing freedom of speech and press.
Let us convert our frustrations into energy and channel them to the next level of legal civil disobedience, however long it takes while at the same time pursue truth and justice at all cost and with due delligence.
May God bless Kenya and her majestic people. May God Bless Raila Odinga, Kenya’s 4th President.
