The Executive Board of Kenyan American Community Association (KACA)
Invites all Kenyans, Kenyan Americans and friends to join hands in celebrating the Kenya American Day (KAD), which will take place on
Sunday, August 01, 2009 at 1600 Kennedy BLVD Jersey City NJ 07305 from 12.00pm to 9.00pm.
Renewing passports has been one of the major services offered on the Kenya American Day(KAD) by the Kenyan Embassies in Washington DC and New York however, It has been brought to our attention that The Embassies of Kenya in Washington D.C and New York are no longer issuing “A” series (32 Page)and “B” series (48 Page) Passports. Anyone who wishes to obtain a new Kenyan passport should therefore apply for a “C” series (64 Page) passport the cost of which is US $150. The Embassies have also stopped renewing 5 year passports (to comply with current immigration regulations in Kenya). Anyone whose passport is expired should therefore make arrangements to apply for a new passport. Passports can be applied online www.kenyaembassy.com . Information regarding passport issuance will be found on the passport information link. as an alternative for passport info and help you can also visit the Kenya Mission website (Consular section) at www.kenyaun.org.
NOTE// we will have the ambassadors or those representing them and other employees from those offices present on KAD day. They will answer any questions/concerns pertaining to passports.
We regret any inconveniences these changes may have caused to you all

Secretary – KACA
