There is nothing wrong for Kenyans to be told to fight for their rights after legitimately voting for ODM and winning by landslide. Kenyans must come out and fight !
Fight for dignity of other tribes; fight for the respect of democracy; fight for freedom of the media; fight corruption and install a legitimate government. Acquire every tool necessary to march to Nairobi State House and swear your own elected president who won by majority votes. Kibaki Must Step Down!
A recount must be done willingly. Elections were called for the sake of transparency and fairness; if there are discrepancies, vote tampering, rigging and vote announcement delay these must be addressed speedily. Kibaki compromised ECK who took a long time to agree to declare Kibaki as the winner after tampering with election results. The plan was to declare Kibaki the winner; swear him in within five minutes and arrest ODM pentagon team and charge them for incitement. The steps to arrest ODM pentagon were going to bring local and international pressure so they retreated. The police commissioner works for Kibaki not Kenya no wonder he allowed his force to be used.
A recount must be done willingly or dont let any government office to function. Kenyans should have been told not to field presidential candidates, but only Kibaki to go unopposed. It is either to die or allow a recount to satisfy everybody.
A recount must be done willing from the grass roots and allow questionable theories to be answered. Nobody should say that Kenyans in Diaspora are inciting violence; Kenyans in Diaspora are asking for legitimacy, accountability, transparency and the stoppage of abusing citizens of Kenya under the umbrella of a big tribe which produces good leaders. Maybe good thieves! Excellent tribalists! Get guns from Turkana, Karamojong and Somalia and speak to Kibaki in Nairobi. Where diplomacy fails bloody and Iron is applicable. March on or Kibaki concede defeat and let us move on!
A dictator! Power Monger! A tolerant of Corruption! A tribalists!
Kibaki dished new Districts in some areas of the country while on the campaign, he made civil appointments of two judges while elections were two days away, he used about 65 thousand law enforcement officers as PNU agents to rig him into power from areas he didnt have support, he tampered with vote counting and ballot papers; he compromised the ECK.
The international community should ask for vote recount and stop Kibaki from forming a government. That will not be an acceptable government; that will not be an elected government, but will be a declared government of some special community. The fight will continue until the constitutional rights are respected and observed.
Raila won by a landslide in Western province, Coast, Nairobi and North Eastern while Kibaki won Eastern and Central. Does that add up to him becoming president?
The Kibaki government failed to address the corruption he pledged to tackle; He brought Armenian brothers to traffic drugs and pose danger to opposition as mercenaries; His government was caught in broad daylight with the Anglo Leasing Scandal; His association with Moi is about covering Goldenberg scandal and cover his paper printing money that devalued the Shilling in the stock market; And the failure to tame his other wife Lucy Kibaki for slapping whomever she pleases, anywhere and anytime. His tribal appointments when other communities have qualified personnel of the same. We shall not accept an imposed president but will accept a popular president. Vote recount is a must and now.
State House and PNU should refrain from saying that their agents were attacked in Nyanza when APs were actually attacked. This is a serious electoral crime while in government.
A brave soldier goes to war to kill or to be killed; a true politician goes to the polls to win or lose and unpopular politician uses crooked ways to cling on to power reflecting corruption that has been mentioned to buy time and stress the country. Looting, property damage and wasting time because some people believe others will not make leaders except themselves.
A mature politician for the sake of unity and peace in the country is to concede and surrender power to the winning candidate. Quite unforgivable when Kibaki holds a country hostage for the sake of imposing himself and sworn in for what he knows he never won. Kibaki must step down otherwise Kenya will fight for independence.
It might be true that Kibaki wants to hang on if not cling to power just for power to show power for power because he was illegally sworn to power. When soldiers from poor families were trained those in rich families were scared and ran away from camps. The turmoil Kibaki will bring to Kenya will go down into history if he doesnt realize and step down. He has bad advisors who tells him to hang on. It brings shame to Kikuyus themselves!
